Surya Bhagavandas

1. Surya was born on July 27, 1957, in Pune, Maharashtra.
2. His father, Lieutenant Colonel R. D. Bhagvandas, and mother, Prabhavathi Bhagvandas, moved the family to Hyderabad, where they started a school called “Trinity Public School.”
3. Surya pursued his education and completed a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and a Bachelor of Education.
4. He joined the second batch of students from Madhu Film Acting School (1984) and was awarded the gold medal for being the most outstanding student.
5. Surya embarked on his film journey with the 1986 Telugu movie “Vikram.”
6. Over the course of his career spanning more than three decades, he has acted in over 600 films and television episodes.
7. “Sindhooram” (1997) (for which he received the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor).
8. “Show” (2001) (earning him a Special Jury Nandi Award).
9. “Magadheera” (2009), “Saaho” (2018), and “Bharat Ane Nenu” (2018), among others.
