2. She was born in 1996 into a Marathi family in Mumbai.

3. Her parents are Shailesh Wagh, a builder, and Namrata Wagh, an architect. Manohar Joshi, the former chief minister of Maharashtra, was her maternal grandfather.

4. Wagh started her career in 2015 as an assistant director for Luv Ranjan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
