Biography

Sharvari Wagh is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. She was born on June 14, 1996, in a Marathi family in Mumbai. Her parents are Shailesh Wagh, a builder, and Namrata Wagh, an architect. Her maternal grandfather was Manohar Joshi, the former chief minister of Maharashtra.

Wagh started her career as an assistant director in 2015 for Luv Ranjan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She made her acting debut in the 2020 Bollywood movie Bunty Aur Babli 2, for which she won the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female and the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in 2022. Wagh's other films include Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Her upcoming projects include Maharaja and Vedaa, which is scheduled for release on July 12, 2024.
