1. Jayashree embarked on her acting journey at a tender age of 4 years.

2. She hails from a distinguished lineage; her grandfather was the renowned theatre director Gubbi Veeranna, founder of the Gubbi Veeranna Nataka Company.

3. As the creative director of Spandana Theatre, an amateur theatre company established in Bangalore in 1976, Jayashree has contributed significantly to the world of theatre.

4. She collaborated with eminent theatre personalities, including B. V. Karanth.

5. In 2013, Jayashree received the prestigious Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honor bestowed by the Government of India.
