1. Ali Fazal was born on October 15, 1986, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He attended La Martiniere College and later moved to The Doon School in Dehradun. His interest in acting blossomed during his school days when he played Trinculo in William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.”

2.  Fazal made his Bollywood debut with a memorable role in Rajkumar Hirani’s blockbuster film “3 Idiots” (2009). He portrayed Joy Lobo, an engineering student, in this critically acclaimed movie.

3. Beyond Bollywood, Ali Fazal has worked in English-language films and series. He appeared in the American television miniseries “Bollywood Hero” (2009) and gained recognition for his role in the Hollywood film “Victoria & Abdul.”

4. Fazal’s performance in the Amazon Prime Video series “Mirzapur” garnered widespread acclaim. His portrayal of Guddu Pandit, a complex character in a crime drama, showcased his versatility as an actor.

5. Ali Fazal has expanded his horizons by working on international projects. He starred in Kenneth Branagh’s “Death on the Nile” and is set to appear in the upcoming film “Kandahar.”
