Odela 2 is an upcoming Telugu-language supernatural thriller, directed by Ashok Teja and written by Sampath Nandi. A sequel to Odela Railway Station, the film stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles. The movie is set to release worldwide on April 17, 2025, in multiple languages, including Hindi and Telugu.  

The story revolves around Odela village, where a malevolent spirit terrorizes the locals. The antagonist, Tirupati (Vasishta Simha), was previously killed by his wife Radha (Hebah Patel) after committing heinous crimes. However, his spirit continues to haunt the village, leading to the arrival of Shiva Shakthi (Tamannaah Bhatia), a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, who takes on the supernatural force.  

Tamannaah Bhatia’s role in Odela 2 is unlike anything she has done before. She portrays a female Aghora, a character deeply rooted in spirituality and mysticism. To prepare for the role, Tamannaah reportedly walked barefoot, turned vegetarian, and worked without makeup, fully immersing herself in the character. The film promises intense horror elements, gripping storytelling, and a battle between spiritual power and dark forces.  

The movie has already generated buzz, with its pre-sales crossing ?28 crores, indicating strong anticipation among audiences. The CBFC has granted an Adults-Only (A) certificate, citing its horror and gore content. With a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 24 minutes, Odela 2 is expected to deliver a thrilling cinematic experience.
