Sunflower 2 Story
Sunflower Season 2 continues the investigation into Mr. Kapoor’s (Ashwin Kaushal) death, with a majority of the residents and frequent visitors coming under suspicion and being interrogated. Led by officers Digendra (DG) played by Ranvir Shorey and Chetan Tambe portrayed by Girish Kulkarni, the investigation intensifies as the spotlight shifts to Sonu Singh (Sunil Grover), who has gone missing and becomes a prime suspect once again.
The narrative unfolds with a mix of suspense, humor, and unexpected twists, keeping viewers engaged throughout. The show introduces more complex characters, all with altered motives connected to the deceased man. One such character is Rosie (Adah Sharma), a mysterious bar dancer close to Raj, who brings turmoil into everyone’s life, especially Sonu’s.
As Rosie and Kapoor’s wife (Shonali Nagrani) enter the scene, the case becomes even more intricate. While everyone seems to have motives, the identity of the killer remains a mystery until the end. Sunil Grover continues to impress as a 35-year-old salesman with OCD (obsessive–compulsive disorder), whose eccentric behavior can be off-putting yet impossible to ignore. Adah Sharma’s portrayal of the enigmatic Rosie adds a new dimension to the storyline, although her character’s journey feels somewhat predictable. Both the police inspectors,
Ranvir Shorey and Girish Kulkarni, deliver earnest performances, with Shorey’s portrayal of a no-nonsense cop standing out. However, the subplot involving Digendra and Mrs. Ahuja (Radha Bhatt) is caricature-like. Bhatt and Mukul Chadda as Mr. and Mrs. Ahuja reprise their roles with conviction
