Raid 2 is an upcoming Hindi-language crime thriller, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, and set to release on May 1, 2025. The film is a sequel to the 2018 hit Raid, which was inspired by real-life income tax operations. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who is known for conducting high-stakes raids against corrupt figures.  

This time, Amay Patnaik embarks on his 75th raid, targeting a powerful white-collar criminal, Dada Bhai, played by Riteish Deshmukh. The film promises intense action, gripping courtroom drama, and a battle between honest law enforcement and deep-rooted corruption. Vaani Kapoor joins the cast, replacing Ileana D’Cruz, who played Amay’s wife in the first film.  

The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, under T-Series and Panorama Studios. The cinematography is handled by Sudhir K. Chaudhary, while the music is composed by Amit Trivedi, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.  

With a budget of approximately ?48 crore, Raid 2 is expected to deliver high-intensity action and suspense, making it one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of 2025. The film’s real-life inspiration and gripping narrative are set to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
