In 2019, Yamuna actively campaigned for BJP candidate Pratap Simha in the Ganesh Nagar area of the N.R. Constituency in Bengaluru. She was also appointed as the cultural ambassador for the Navika Kannada Convention. Dedicated to social causes, she teaches dance to underprivileged children in rural areas and was honored with the Karnataka Women Achiever’s Award in 2018.
