Vikram (Tamil)
Biography
Vikram is the stage name of Kennedy John Victor, an Indian actor, voice actor, and playback singer who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He was born on April 17, 1966 in Madras, India. He has been credited in more than 60 films, including Thangalaan, I, and Anniyan, and has won seven Filmfare Awards South, a National Film Award, and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. He has also sung songs such as "Rangu Rangamma" from Bheema, "Yaaradi Mohini", and "Kaadhalaagi Kaadhalaagi".
Vikram made his debut in the 1990 film En Kadhal Kanmani, and has since appeared in a series of Tamil and Telugu films, as well as supporting roles in a few Malayalam films. He has earned major critical acclaim for many of his performances, and has been part of numerous other commercially successful films since the critical and commercial success of Sethu in 1999.
