Vijay Raghavendra
Biography
Vijay Raghavendra is an Indian actor, director, and television presenter who works primarily in Kannada films. He was born on May 26, 1979 in Bengaluru, Karnataka to producer S.A. Chinne Gowda and Jayamma. He is also the nephew of actor Dr. Rajkumar.
Raghavendra is known for his roles in Chalisuva Modagalu (1982), Parashuram (1989), Aralida Hoovugalu (1991), Jaga Mechida Huduga (1993), Kotreshi Kanasu (1994), Ninagagi (2002), Heart Beats (2003), Vijaya Simha (2006), and Kismath (2018). He won his first Karnataka State Award for Best Child Actor (Male) in 1993 for Chinnari Mutha and his first National Award for Best Child Artist in 1994 for Kotreshi Kanasu. He has also directed Raja Loves Radhe and Kismat.
Raghavendra was married to Spandana Ragavendra until 2023, when she died from a heart attack at the age of 45 while on vacation in Thailand. They have a child named Shourya Ragavendra.
