Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor who has been featured in 57 movies and has starred in 11 consecutive box-office successes between 2012 and 2018. He is one of India's highest-paid actors and has been featured in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2014. Some of his highest-grossing releases include ABCD 2 (2015) and Street Dancer 3D (2020).

Dhawan was born on April 24, 1987 in Mumbai and was raised in a Punjabi family. His father, David Dhawan, is a successful director, but he wanted Varun to be an engineer or a doctor. However, Varun always wanted to be a wrestler and is a fan of WWE wrestler The Rock, Dwayne Johnson. He has been married to Natasha Dalal since 2021.
