1. Unni Mukundan is an Indian actor, producer, and singer who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. 

2. He was born on September 22, 1987 in Thrissur, Kerala to Malayali parents Madathiparambil Mukundan Nair and Roji Mukundan. 

3. He has an elder sister named Karthika. Mukundan attended Pragati Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad and Prajyoti Niketan College in Pudukad (Thrissur) where he graduated with a degree in English Literature and Journalism. 

4. Before joining the film industry, he wanted to join the Indian Army. 

5. Mukundan made his acting debut in the 2011 Tamil remake of the 2002 film Nandanam, Seedan. 

6. He has appeared in more than 35 movies, including Yashoda (2022), 12th Man (2022), Jai Ganesh (2024), Masterpiece (2017), Mamangam: History of the Brave (2019), and Mikhael (2019). 

7. In 2020, Mukundan started his own film production company, (UMF).
