Tabassum Fatima Hashmi, also known as Tabu, is an Indian actress who works mainly in Hindi films. She was born on November 4, 1971, and has won the National Film Award for Best Actress twice. 

Tabu is known for her versatile acting and has often played troubled women in both mainstream and independent cinema. She has credits in more than 60 movies, including Khufiya, Drishyam, and Drishyam 2. She has also starred in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali-language films, as well as one American film.
