Sundar C. (Vinayagar Sundar Vel) is an Indian actor, producer, director, and writer.

He's known for his work in the Tamil film industry, and has directed over 34 films and acted in 17 as the protagonist.

He's been one of the industry's most successful directors for the last 30 years. 

Sundar C. was born on January 21, 1968 in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India.

He started his career as an assistant director to Manivannan, and made his directorial debut with Murai Maman (1995), which also marked his acting debut.

He's known for films such as Aambala (2015), Winner (2003), Rendu (2006), Ullathai Allitha, Arunachalam, and Anbe Sivam. 

Sundar C. has been married to Kushboo since March 9, 2000, and they have two children.
