Biography

Penmetsa Subbaraju, also known as Subbaraju, is an Indian actor who works in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema. He was born on February 27, 1977 in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. He has appeared in over 60 movies, including Nishabdham, Geetha Govindam, Neninthe, Duvvada Jagannadham, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), Pokiri (2006), and Vakeel Saab (2021). Subbaraju is known for playing a variety of roles, including negative and supporting characters. 

Subbaraju's introduction to cinema was an accident when he was called to fix a PC issue at filmmaker Krishna Vamsi's residence, which led to a small part in Vamsi's 2002 movie Khadgam. Subbaraju has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from DNR College in Bhimavaram, and also took a computer course and worked at Dell Computers in Hyderabad.
