He made his acting debut in 2015 with the romantic action film "Hero," alongside Athiya Shetty, for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Newcomer1. Sooraj is the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, and he has a sister named Sana Pancholi.
