Biography

Rishibala Naval is the birth name of Simran Bagga, an Indian actress, singer, dancer, and producer. She was born in Mumbai on April 4, 1976 to Punjabi parents. She has two younger sisters, Monal and Jyothi Anand, and a younger brother, Sumeet Naval. She has appeared in more than 60 films in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Simran's career began in 1995 with the film Sanam Harjai, the first Indian film to be shot in New Zealand. She has won three Filmfare Awards South and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award. Her biggest Bollywood film is the multi-starrer Tere Mere Sapne. Some of her other films include New, Vaalee, and Vaaranam Aayiram. 

Simran married her childhood friend, Deepak Bagga, on December 2, 2003, and they have two sons, Adheep Odo (born June 11, 2005) and Aadit Veer (born March 16, 2011).
