Biography

Shubra Aiyappa, born on April 24, is an Indian actress who has made her mark predominantly in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films. Before venturing into the world of modeling and movies, she attended Baldwin Girls High School in Bangalore.

Her journey began as a model, gracing several commercials. However, it was her acting debut in the Telugu film “Prathinidhi” (2014) that truly launched her career. In the movie, she portrayed the role of a journalist. Following this, she appeared in the Tamil film “Sagaptham” (2015), which introduced Shanmugapandian, son of actor-politician Vijayakanth. Although her role in “Sagaptham” was minimal, it marked her presence in the industry.

In the same year, Shubra made her debut in Kannada cinema with a guest appearance in “Vajrakaya” (2015). Her character graced the screen in the film’s opening minutes and featured in a song shot in the picturesque city of Venice. “Vajrakaya” received positive reviews and performed well at the box office, paving the way for more film opportunities for Shubra.

She continued her acting journey with movies like “Thimayya & Thimayya” and is currently working on the film “Ramana Avatara” alongside actors Rishi and Pranitha Subash.
