Biography

Shruti Bhumi Reddy, born on April 23, 1997, is a talented actress hailing from a Telugu-speaking family in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. Her father, Jayarami Reddy, worked in the Revenue department, while her mother, Vaneswari Devi, is a businesswoman. Shruti’s grandfather, Bhumireddy Busi Reddy, is a politician. She has a brother named Sravanth Reddy Bhumireddy, who is a civil engineer running his own business.

Shruti pursued her engineering degree in Information Technology from Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology in Hyderabad. After graduation,  Her passion led her to pursue an MBA from SRM B-School, SRM University in Chennai. Alongside her studies, Shruti honed her skills in classical dance, excelling in both Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi.

Her journey into the entertainment industry began with modeling. She walked the ramp for a fashion designer on ABN Andhra Jyothi’s channel during her final year of engineering. Later, she participated in various modeling and fashion shows, including Miss North India 2012, where she won the title of Miss Catwalk. Shruti also graced the ramp as the “Show Stopper” at the Hyderabad International Fashion Week in 2012.

Shruti’s acting career took off when she enrolled in Anupam Kher’s acting school, Actor Prepares, in Mumbai. She made her debut in Tamil cinema with the film “Marina Puratchi” (2019), playing the lead role. Additionally, she appeared in “Jagan” (2013) and “Jaihind 2” (2014), where she portrayed a London-based young female lead.

Beyond acting, Shruti is a passionate mental health activist. She is associated with the community organization “Soul – Success Of Ur Life”, which promotes mental health awareness and wisdom. Her impactful speeches have inspired many, and she actively engages in charitable work, visiting orphanages, destitute homes, and old-age homes to serve those in need.
