Biography
Sharan is an Indian actor, producer, and occasional singer who works in Kannada cinema. He was born on February 6, 1972 in Bangalore, Karnataka. He made his acting debut in the 1996 film Prema Prema Prema, and has appeared in over 100 films, mostly in supporting roles and comedy roles. He first gained recognition in the late 2000s, and his first lead role was in Rambo, in which he also worked as a producer. He has since become known for his comedic roles in films such as Karpoorada Gombe (1996), Friends (2002), Monalisa (2004), Jothe Jotheyali (2006), Pallakki (2007), and Maleyali Jotheyali (2009).
Sharan's other films include Yuvraja (2001), Krishna (2007), Gaana Bajaana (2010), Sanju Weds Geetha (2011), Kempe Gowda (2011), Adhyaksha (2014), and Hani Hani (2008).
Sharan has won four awards and been nominated for five, and has also been featured six times.
