Saurabh Shukla, born on March 5, 1963, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, is a celebrated Indian actor, screenwriter, and director known for his versatility and impactful performances. His family moved to Delhi when he was two years old, and he later graduated from S.G.T.B. Khalsa College. Shukla's artistic journey began in theater, where he honed his craft before transitioning to cinema.
He gained recognition for his role as Kallu Mama in the critically acclaimed film Satya (1998), which he also co-wrote. This marked a turning point in his career, showcasing his talent for portraying complex characters. Over the years, Shukla has delivered memorable performances in films like Nayak: The Real Hero (2001), Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), Barfi!
