Biography

Sanjay Suri is an Indian actor and producer of Hindi films. He was born on April 6, 1971. He first appeared in the 1999 film Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and has since starred in many other films, including FIRAAQ, PINJAR, DAMAN, FILHAAL, I AM, Say Salaam India, JHANKAAR BEATS, and MY BROTHER NIKHIL. In 2012, he won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for I Am. 

Suri has 32 acting credits and seven producing credits. He has been a part of many international co-production markets and labs, and has been a jury member at the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) and the Dubai International Film Festival. He is known for his qualitative choice of roles and films, and for being at the forefront of India's current independent cinema revolution.
 
Suri has been married to Ambika Suri since 2001, and they have two children, Pareeksha and Sarvam Shakthi Mayam.
