Sandhya Revathy, also known as Kaadhal Sandhya, is a former Indian actress who has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada films. She was born on September 27, 1988 in Trivandrum, Kerala. Sandhya is known for her expressive face and is predominantly seen in the South Indian film industry. Her filmography includes Kaadhal (2004), Alice in Wonderland (2005), and Kanmani (2020). She won a Filmfare Award for Best Actress and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize for her role in Kaadhal. 

Sandhya is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, having studied since the age of seven and performed her arangetram in Chennai in 1979. She has been considered one of the all-time top actresses of Tamil cinema and South Indian cinema. 

Sandhya married Arjun, an IT employee from Chennai, on December 6, 2015. They have a daughter who was born on September 27, 2016.
