Biography

Saiyami Kher is a talented Indian actress and model, known for her work in Hindi, Telugu, and Marathi cinema. Born on June 29, 1992, in Nashik, Maharashtra, Saiyami hails from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. She is the granddaughter of veteran actress Usha Kiran and the niece of acclaimed actresses Tanvi Azmi and Shabana Azmi. Saiyami completed her graduation in History from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, before venturing into the world of acting and modeling.

Saiyami began her career as a model, featuring in prestigious campaigns for brands like Levis, Pantaloons, and L’Oreal. She gained recognition as a Kingfisher calendar model in 2012. Her acting debut came in 2015 with the Telugu film Rey, followed by her Hindi debut in Mirzya (2016), directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Her performance in Mirzya earned her the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Female.

Saiyami has since showcased her versatility in films like Mauli (2018), Choked (2020), and Ghoomer (2023), where she portrayed a one-armed cricketer. Her role in Ghoomer received critical acclaim, earning her nominations for prestigious awards. She has also appeared in web series such as Special OPS and Faadu, further cementing her position in the industry.

Apart from acting, Saiyami is an accomplished athlete. She has played badminton at the Junior National level alongside Saina Nehwal and was once called for the Indian Women’s National cricket team selection. Saiyami also completed the grueling Ironman 70.3 triathlon in Berlin, inspiring many with her dedication and resilience.
