Robo Shankar is an Indian actor and standup comedian who works in the Tamil film industry. He was born on December 24, 1978 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He made his acting debut in 1999 with an uncredited role in Padaiyappa, starring Rajinikanth. He became famous for his standup comedy on the reality TV show Kalakkapovathu Yaaru (2010). He is now a regular on several shows on Star Vijay and has presented television shows for the channel. 

Shankar is also known for his roles in the films Velaikkaran (2017), Power Paandi (2017), and The Legend (2022).
