Ranvir Shorey is an Indian actor and former VJ who has made significant contributions to Hindi films and television. Since his debut in Ek Chhotisi Love Story (2002), he has appeared in several high-profile movies, including Jism (2003) and Lakshya (2004). His talent extends beyond mainstream cinema, as he has also been part of critically acclaimed films like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Traffic Signal, Bheja Fry (2007), and the successful film Mithya (2008) . Ranvir Shorey is currently a contestant on the reality TV show Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 . He entered the show on June 21, 2024 .

Early in his career, Ranvir Shorey hosted the talk show Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun? and The Great Indian Comedy Show on STAR One . His comic timing was particularly appreciated in the comedy film Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006) . He played the character Nanoo in Pyaar Ke Side Effects alongside Rahul Bose . Additionally, he appeared in the multi-starrer film Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. (2007) .

In recent years, Ranvir Shorey starred in the short film Shame (2018) alongside Swara Bhaskar and featured in the movie Sonchiriya (2019) alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, Ashutosh Rana, and Manoj Bajpayee . His dark comedy film Kadakh received critical acclaim .

On a personal note, Ranvir Shorey married actress Konkona Sen Sharma in 2010, and the couple has a son named Haroon.
