Biography
Rangayana Raghu is the stage name of Kotturu Chikkarangappa Raghunath, an Indian actor known for his work in Kannada cinema. He has appeared in more than 250 films, usually playing comic and negative characters. Raghu was born on April 17, 1965 in the village of Kotturu, in the Tumkur district of Karnataka, India. He began his acting career as a stage actor with the Rangayana theatre group in Mysore in 1988, and made his film debut in 1995.
Raghu's TV shows include Gauripurada Gayaligalu, Aithalakkadi, and Badava Rascal Making. He has also sung songs such as "Health importantu" and "Colour Colour Kanasu". In 2007, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Kannada for Cyanide.
