Ram Pothineni is an Indian actor who works primarily in Telugu films. He is known for his energetic screen presence and has won one Filmfare Award and one SIIMA Award. Pothineni was born in Hyderabad on May 15, 1988. He has 34 movie credits, including Skanda, iSmart Shankar, and Warriorr. He also has songs including "Mounanga Unna", "Kaun Acha Kaun Lucha", and "Dinchak". 

Pothineni made his acting debut in the box office success Devadasu, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. 
Pothineni's parents are Murali Pothineni and Padmasree Pothineni. His siblings are Krishna Chaitanya and Madhu Smitha Pothineni. His nephew is Telugu film producer, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, and his cousin is actor Sharwanand.
