Ram Charan is an Indian actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He mainly works in Telugu cinema. Ram Charan was born on March 27, 1985 in Madras (now Chennai). He is the son of actor Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha. His maternal grandfather was famous comedian Allu Ramalingaiah. Ram Charan has two sisters, Sushmita and Sreeja. 

Ram Charan is fond of horse riding and is a trained horseman. He did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School, Chennai. When he was studying in college, he dropped out to pursue a full-time career in acting. He took acting lessons from Kishore Namit's acting classes in Mumbai. 

Apart from Ram Charan, he owns the polo team Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club and was the co-owner of the airline service TruJet. He participates in the 41-day long Ayyappa initiation (Vratam), which is performed on an annual basis at Sabarimala. 

Ram Charan has a luxury car collection. He has a Rolls Royce Phantom, which costs around Rs 7 to 8 crores. Apart from this, he has an Aston Martin V8 car, which costs around Rs 3 crore. Not only this, he has Mercedes, Range Rover, Audi and Ferrari Portofino.
