Biography

Raghavendra Rajkumar, born on August 15, 1965, is a prominent Indian actor, singer, and producer in the Kannada cinema industry. He hails from a legendary film family, being the son of the iconic actor Dr. Rajkumar and film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar.

Raghavendra made his debut as a lead actor in the film “Chiranjeevi Sudhakar” in 1988. However, it was his role in the immensely successful 1989 film “Nanjundi Kalyana” that truly catapulted him to fame. His acting journey continued with notable films like “Gajapathi Garvabhanga” (1989), “Anukoolakkobba Ganda” (1990), and “Geluvina Saradaara” (1996).

Despite his impressive filmography, Raghavendra took a fifteen-year hiatus from acting after starring in “Pakkadmane Hudugi” (2004). During this break, he ventured into producing television serials under Poornima Productions and films under Sri Vajreshwari Combines.

His comeback film as a villain, “Chillum,” unfortunately got dropped. In 2019, he returned to the silver screen as a lead actor in the movie “Ammana Mane”, which even caught the attention of the Prime Minister of Singapore1.
