Prabhas is an Indian actor who works mainly in Telugu cinema. He was born on October 23, 1979 in Madras, Tamil Nadu. His full name is Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju. He is the youngest of three children, with an older brother, Prabodh, and older sister, Pragathi. Prabhas is the nephew of Telugu film actor Krishnam Raju. 

Prabhas has 23 film credits, including Eeswar (2002), Raghavendra (2003), Varsham (2004), Adavi Ramudu (2004), and Chakram (2005). He is known for his roles in Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), and Adipurush (2023). He has been nominated for seven Filmfare Awards, has won six awards and has been nominated for 13, and has received a Nandi Award and a SIIMA Award. He has also been featured on Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list three times since 2015.
