Parvateesam, an Indian actor active in the Telugu film industry, gained recognition for his portrayal of Nookaraju in the 2015 movie “Kerintha”. Born in Kharagpur, West Bengal, he later settled in Visakhapatnam and Bangalore for his education. Despite completing his B.Tech, he chose to follow his passion for acting, abandoning a promising job in Bangalore.

During his college days, Parvateesam and his friends staged a comedy play titled “Interview lo Gandhara golam,” which received acclaim. This fueled his confidence, leading him to engage in theater at the National School of Drama (NSD) and attend various workshops to hone his skills.

His breakthrough role as Nookaraju in “Kerintha”, produced by Dil Raju and directed by Saikiran Adivi, marked a turning point in his career. Parvateesam aspires to be recognized as an artist akin to Prakash Raj and Kota Srinivasa Rao, rather than being labeled solely as a comedian. He remains selective about his film choices, emphasizing quality over quantity.
