Biography
Nawab Shah, born on October 12, 1972, in Delhi, India, is a versatile actor known for his work across multiple Indian film industries, including Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. He began his acting career in television, debuting in the Doordarshan serial Akbar The Great in 1993, where he played the role of Babar.
He gained widespread recognition for his role as Kakodar in the popular TV show Shaktimaan, where his catchphrase “Andhera Kaayam Rahe” became iconic. Nawab transitioned to films with notable performances in movies like Lakshya (2004), Don 2 (2011), and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013).
He is particularly known for portraying strong, villainous characters, earning critical acclaim for his roles. His performances as Abdul Jabbar in Don 2 and as a Pakistani athletics coach in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag are among his most memorable.
In addition to his film career, Nawab has been active in theatre and various stage productions. He married actress Pooja Batra in 2019, and the couple has been a prominent pair in the entertainment industry.
