Mouni Roy is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and television. She was born on September 28, 1985 in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. Her parents are Anil Roy and Mukti Roy, and her grandfather was a well-known Jatra theater artist. Roy's acting career started in 2006 with the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She is more famous for her roles in the supernatural thriller series Naagin and its sequel Naagin 2. 

Roy has also appeared in the following films and television shows: Hero Hitler in Love (2011), Gold (2018), K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2019), and Brahm?stra: Part One -- Shiva (2022).
