Laila Mehdin is an Indian actress who has appeared in over 60 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra on October 24, 1980. She made her debut in the mid-1990s and is known for her roles in Pithamagan (2003), Nandha (2001), and Insan (2005). In 2004, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Tamil for Pithamagan. 

Laila has also appeared in the TV shows Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie and Gokulathil Seethai.
