Biography

Kunchacko Boban is an Indian actor, producer, and businessman who has appeared in over 100 Malayalam films in more than 20 years. He was born on November 2, 1976 in Alappuzha, Kerala and is known as "chocolate boy" for his romantic roles. He has won several awards, including the Kerala State Film Awards, the Asianet Film Award for Best Star Pair for Mummy & Me in 2011, and the Asianet Film Award for Honour Special Jury for Ee Snehatheerathu in 2013. 

Boban started acting at age five in the 1976 drama Dhanya, which was produced by his father Boban Kunchacko. He made his adult debut in the 1997 romantic drama Aniyathipravu, which became one of the year's highest-grossing Malayalam films. He has also sung songs including "Vaanam Mele", "Raavu Maayave", and "Manjupole". 

Boban has been married to Priya Ann Samuel since 2005. His father is actor and producer Boban Kunchacko, his grandfather is the founder of Udaya Studios, and his grandnephew is the founder of Navodaya Studios.
