Biography
Khanak Budhiraja is an Indian architect-turned-actress recognized for her roles in ‘Ek Kori Prem Katha’ and ‘Johnny Jumper’. She was born on June 22, 1993, in Ambala Cantt, Haryana, India. Khanak completed her schooling at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Ambala Cantt and later graduated with a degree in architecture from Chandigarh’s Chitkara School of Planning & Architecture, affiliated with Punjab Technical University.
After winning titles like ‘Face of the Year’ and ‘Miss North India’ in Chandigarh, she moved to Mumbai to pursue opportunities in the glamour industry. Khanak has been featured in television commercials for brands like Nykaa, Mamaearth, H&M, and Splash Fashion. She is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Oberoi in the female-centric social satire film ‘Ek Kori Prem Katha’, directed by Chinmay Purohit. The film, which also stars veteran actors Raj Babbar, Darshan Zariwala, and Poonam Dhillon, is scheduled to release in cinemas on April 5, 2024. Khanak will also be seen opposite Tanuj Virwani in ‘Johnny Jumper’, a film written and directed by Saurabh Varma.
