Kartikeya Gummakonda was born on September 21, 1992, in Hyderabad, India.
His parents own a school in the neighborhood of Vanasthalipuram called the Nagarjuna group of schools.
He graduated from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal.
Despite his engineering background, he chose to pursue a career in acting.
Kartikeya made his acting debut in 2017 with the film “Prematho Mee Karthik”.
However, he gained widespread recognition for his performance in the 2018 romantic action film “RX100” directed by Ajay Bhupathi. The film was a commercial success and established him as a notable actor.
In subsequent years, he appeared in several films, including “Hippi,” “Guna 369,” “Nani’s Gang Leader,” and "90ML".
His portrayal of the kickboxer in “Hippi” and the antagonist role in “Nani’s Gang Leader” received positive reviews.
In 2021, he played the lead role of Basti Balaraju in “Chaavu Kaburu Challaga,” where he portrayed a hearse driver who falls in love with a widow.
Kartikeya also starred in “Raja Vikramarka” as an NIA officer and played the antagonist in Ajith’s Tamil film "Valimai".
In August 2021, Kartikeya got engaged to his college sweetheart, Lohitha Reddy, whom he had met during their college days in 2010. The couple tied the knot on November 21, 20211.
Kartikeya stands at 6 feet tall and weighs around 75 kilograms.
