Kajol Mukherjee Devgan, known as Kajol, is an Indian actress. She was born in Mumbai on August 5, 1974. Kajol is the daughter of actress Tanuja Samarth and the late filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee. She is married to Ajay Devgan and they have two children, Nysa and Yug. 

Kajol is known for her exceptional performances on screen and has been credited in more than 60 movies. She has won six Filmfare Awards, including five Best Actress awards, tying her with her aunt Nutan for the record. Some of her movies include Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Baazigar, and Karan Arjun. She is often paired on-screen with actor Shah Rukh Khan.
