Harshika Poonacha
Biography
Harshika Poonacha is an Indian actress who works primarily in Kannada films. She was born on May 1, 1990 in Ammathi, Karnataka, India. She attended Christ Junior College and Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT).
Poonacha first became famous in 2008 with the film PUC. She has appeared in 42 movies, including Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke, Appudu Ala Eppudu Ela, * Thamassu* (2010), Jackie (2010), Murali Meets Meera (2011), 5 Idiots (2011), Case No. 18/9 (2013), Bhale Jodi (2016), Upendra Matte Baa (2017), Marakastra (2023), Bera (2023), Sthabdha (2023), and Kaasina Sara (2023). She won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2010 for her role in Thamassu. In 2011, she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Kannada for her role in Jackie.
