Geetu Mohandas is an Indian film actress and director known for her work in the Malayalam and Hindi film industries. Born on February 14, 1981, in Kannur, Kerala, India, she began her acting career as a child artist and later transitioned into lead roles. Geetu Mohandas made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film "Liar's Dice" in 2013, which was India's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 87th Academy Awards. Apart from her filmmaking career, she has also acted in various films in Malayalam and other languages. Her filmography includes notable works like "Akkaldhamayile Pennu," "My God," and "Moothon," the last of which she directed and received widespread acclaim. "Moothon" is a Malayalam-language film that explores the journey of a young boy from Lakshadweep in search of his elder brother.
