B. R. Vijay Kumar, professionally known as Duniya Vijay, is a celebrated actor and director in the Kannada film industry. Born on January 20, 1974, in Anekal, Karnataka, Vijay’s journey to stardom was marked by perseverance and dedication1.
Vijay began his career with minor roles in films like “Ranga SSLC” (2004) and “Jogi” (2004). His breakthrough came with the 2007 film “Duniya,” where he played the lead role of Shivu, a naive village boy caught in the underworld. This performance earned him critical acclaim and the nickname “Duniya” Vijay12. Following this success, he starred in several hit films, including “Chanda” (2007), “Junglee” (2009), and “Bheema Theeradalli” (2012), showcasing his versatility as an actor.
In addition to acting, Vijay ventured into film production with his banner, Duniya Talkies, and made his directorial debut with “Salaga” (2021)2.
