Dulquer Salmaan is an Indian actor, playback singer, and film producer. He was born on July 28, 1983, and is 5'9" (1.75 m) tall. He has appeared in over 60 films, including Sita Ramam, King of Kotha, and Charlie. He has also worked in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. 

Salmaan studied at Sishya School in Chennai, and received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University in the U.S.. He made his acting debut in the 2012 action drama Second Show, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. 

Salmaan has been married to Chennai-based architect Amal Sufiya since 2011. His songs include "Olu", "Thornidathe", and "Unnimaya". His upcoming movies include Kalki 2898 AD.
