Dimple Kapadia is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi films. She was born in Mumbai on June 8, 1957. Kapadia was discovered by Raj Kapoor at the age of 14 and given the lead role in his 1973 teen romance Bobby. The film was a huge commercial success and made her an overnight star. 

Kapadia's upcoming movies include Murder Mubarak. She has also sung songs including "Jaane Do Na", "Kisi Nazar Ko Tera", and "Chumma Chumma".
 
Kapadia was married to Rajesh Khanna from 1973 until his death in 2012. They have two children, Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna.
