Facts

  1. Dileep is the eldest of three children.
  2. He studied at Vidyadhiraja Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School in Aluva, where he passed the tenth standard in 1985.
  3. He studied history at Maharaja's College, Ernakulam, where he began taking impressionist acts seriously.
  4. He started his career as an assistant to Kamal, a renowned director.
  5. He gained popularity with his impressionist acts on stage shows and Comicola, a TV comedy series, which was aired on Asianet.
  6. He has also produced several films under the banner Graand Production as well as worked as a playback singer.
  7. In 2013, he was given the Award of Excellence at Asianet Film Awards for completing 20 years in the Malayalam film industry.
  8. He has starred in Two Countries (2015), Ramaleela (2017), Kammara Sambhavam (2018), Savari (2018), Jack & Daniel (2019), and My Santa (2019).
