Babloo Prithiveeraj is a versatile Indian actor known for his work in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema, as well as television. Born on July 18, 1966, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, he began his acting career as a child artist in films like Naalai Namadhe (1975) and Naan Vazhavaippen (1979). He transitioned to lead roles in the 1980s and gained recognition for his performances in films like Vaaname Ellai and Aval Varuvaala. Babloo is particularly noted for his portrayal of negative roles, earning accolades for his versatility.

In addition to films, Babloo made a significant impact on Tamil television with roles in popular serials such as Ramany vs Ramany, Marma Desam, and Vani Rani. His hosting stint on Jaya TV’s Savaal further showcased his charisma. Babloo has also ventured into entrepreneurship, opening a bubble tea shop, Cha Republic, in Chennai.
