Anant Nagarkatte, born on September 4, 1948, is an Indian actor known mainly for his work in Kannada cinema. With over 300 film appearances, including more than 200 Kannada films, he has also acted in Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, and English movies.
Anant Nag has made significant contributions to parallel cinema, theatre, and television shows. His commercially successful Kannada films include "Mungaru Male," "Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu," and "K.G.F: Chapter 1." Beyond the silver screen, he is the elder brother of acclaimed director and actor Shankar Nag.
