Akshay Oberoi is an American actor of Indian descent who works in Hindi films. He was born on January 1, 1985 in Lucknow. He made his acting debut as a child in the 2002 comedy-drama American Chai and his first leading role in * Isi Life Mein* in 2010. He has received critical acclaim for his work. 

Oberoi's latest movies include Chote Nawab, Two Zero One Four, Dil Hai Gray, Ek Kori Prem Katha, and Laal Rang 2: Khoon Chusva. He has also starred in various digital series, including the Netflix original Selection Day in 2019, Its Not So Simple, The Test Case, Bar Code, and Hum Tum and Them. 

Oberoi has been married to Jyothi Vynatheya, a strategy consultant with Dalberg Global Development Advisors, since 2011. Their son, Avyaan, was born in April 2017.
