Ajay Devgn is an Indian actor, director, and producer who works in Hindi cinema. He was born Vishal Veeru Devgn in New Delhi on April 2, 1969, and changed his stage name to Ajay because of other actors with the same name.

Devgn has won four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards, and in 2016 he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honor. He has appeared in over 100 films, including Phool Aur Kaante (1991), Jigar (1992), and Vijaypath (1994). He has also sung songs such as "Ek Baat Main Apne Dil" and "Mera Mulk Mera Desh". 

Devgn has been married to Kajol since 1999 and they have two children.
